If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bull Run, and why not camp at Armstrong - Mount Hood National Forest       while you're here at Kromer Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Kromer Reservoir gets much water; December is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month. Having a tremendous time at Kromer Reservoir is easy. Do stop at Shockley Reservoir close to Kromer Reservoir, it's a scenic lake, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Old Baldy Trail. Take a hike on the Eagle Creek Cutoff, and Eagle Creek is a fine whitewater                  spot nearby. Kromer Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Summertime highs at Kromer Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; overnight lows in the 30's for Kromer Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Sandy Inn, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Creek - Mount Hood National Forest is a fine place to camp. So many entertaining things in the Central Cascade Range, just striking.
