There's some flowing water nearby, Ash Swale is a stream you can go to while you're here. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Anderson Reservoir; an attention-grabbing thing       to explore close to Kraitz Reservoir is Phil Olson Dam. For you golfers we recommend close by Bayou Golf Club, and the summit of Crescent Hill can be seen from Kraitz Reservoir. Kraitz Reservoir gets a great deal of water; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. Kraitz Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Mulkey RV Park is a splendid local campground, and a great nearby hotel                  is Paragon Motel. This lake is so wonderful. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Kraitz Reservoir while night lows are regularly in the 40's.
