Hiking is a popular thing to do around Kolb Reservoir; Twin Lakes Trail is a great local trail, and a nice nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Baker City. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Sunridge Inn is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The Rock Creek Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and Sutton Creek is close to Kolb Reservoir and is always a pleasure to       take a look at. Good hiking is available along the Elkhorn Crest Trail. There's so much to do here at Kolb Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Baker RV Park is a magnificent place for that. Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do near Kolb Reservoir. People from La Grande love to come to Kolb Reservoir, also Licklider Dam is worth visiting if you're here. The skiing at Anthony Lakes is tremendous, and a splendid place to check out is Bowen                  Valley. Through the summer months at Kolb Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Kolb Reservoir. Kolb Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain View Holiday Travel is a pleasant local campground; a round of golf at nearby Baker City Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time.
