Stay the night at Millpond Campground, and the Canyon Number Three Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you're
interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Lester James Dam, unsurprisingly you could also have a look at Lake of the Cedars since you're here; it's not far at all. Koellner Reservoir is a good place to camp, Central Point Koa
Kampground is a good place, and nearby you discover splendid sites like Holman Gulch.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Koellner Reservoir you can take a hike along the Chicago Trail, and Rogue River has a great
whitewater paddling spot close by. And that's not all the things to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains. On a great day at Koellner Reservoir you can take a hike along the Red Mountain Trail; it's a good idea to visit Cliff Creek.
