     Kodiak Pond gets very little precipitation; December is the month that gets the most snow; July on the other hand is the driest. And that's not everything you can do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Bly Mountain Pass is a magnificent site to explore; why not camp at S'Ocholis Campground if you're here at Kodiak Pond. Kodiak Pond is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range.
This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Lava Beds National Monument,
 
   you ought to schedule some time for it since you're here. Lakes? Sure, Ritter Reservoir is close by. You should unquestionably dedicate some time to Cliney Flat since you're here at Kodiak Pond, and here at Kodiak Pond you can catch a sight of Bly Mountain. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Potter's Trailer Park is a magnificent local campground.

Bird watching at it's best. Yellow wing and red wing black birds nest in the tule reeds of this little lake into the middle of August. Ducks nest on the banks in Spring. It is still half full, 40 acres in late summer. In early Spring you will find the lake full at 80 acres if normal rain has fallen during the winter. Great for canoe. Private Lake.
