The beauty of Knowland Slough attracts many people from all around. Coxcomb Hill is clearly visible from Knowland Slough; playing golf is lots of fun at Astoria Golf & Country Club. All through the summer highs here at Knowland Slough get into the 60's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Knowland Slough. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Naselle

| | River - North Fork. This place rules, just check out all the exciting things to do close to Knowland Slough. Why not go to nearby Binder Slough if you're here at Knowland Slough, and Fort Clatsop National Memorial is one of the destinations that are splendid to have a look at close by. at Knowland Slough; the month with most of the rain is December; July meanwhile is the driest month. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Daggett Point is near Knowland Slough and is a splendid
spot to have a look at, and camping at Sunset Lake Resort and Park is always a great experience. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a splendid time. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Astoria is a good site to get some rest,
and Knowland Slough is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Healing Circle is a tremendous local campground. Be careful coming to the Coast Ranges, you might not ever want to return home again. Knowland Slough is right
by the Cannon Beach Trail; there are other spots here than Knowland Slough, for example Astoria Reservoir. A delightful close by hotel is Astoria Rivershore Motel; Knowland Slough is not far at all from Astoria.

Driftwood RV Park
 | 18 miles away ...each peninsula at the mouth of the Columbia river. The Park is 2. 2 acres with 56 sites on it. All sites are grass, tables at each site, full hook-up with cable and Wi-Fi available. We are 2. 5 blocks from the beach and 14 blocks from downtown. We have showers, laundry, and a meeting hall available to groups. Our Park is perpendicular to the highway so most sites are well away from the road. There are hiking and bicycling trails, a national wildlife refuge, two beautiful light houses and much history dating back to Lewis and Clark's discovery in 1805. A great place to do exploring, fishing, hiking, and just being able to set on the beach and enjoy nature.
The town of Long Beach still retains some of the old charm from the 40's and 50's, yet being able to provide you with up to date services. Great dinning is available from several restaurants. Horse back riding, the Dunes Beach trail that now leads from Ilwaco north to north 16th St in Long Beach (7+ miles).
