Marys River is a good whitewater spot close to Knight Reservoir; Knight Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Benton Oaks RV and Campground is a good local campground. Knight Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls during December, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular location for people from Corvallis; a lovely lake       like Clemens Log Pond is a great spot to check out. Summertime highs at Knight Reservoir usually tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Knight Reservoir temperatures dip to the 30's. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Corvallis is a good choice, and camping at Benton County                  Fairgrounds is always a wonderful experience. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. Why not visit close by Blair Creek since you're here at Knight Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Harrison House Bed and Breakfast. This spot is unbeatable, just look at all the entertaining things to do right next door to Knight Reservoir.
