For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Klink Reservoir temperatures sink to the 20's. Be careful coming to the Blue Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. If you came for an overnight stay Mt Vernon Motel and Trailer       Park is a glorious spot to camp; going for a hike on the Fawn Spring Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A fine close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn, and you can go for a hike on the High Trail. That right there is lots of cool things already but it goes on, the Blue Mountains has it all. Don't leave Klink Reservoir without first paying a visit to Randall Spring.
