After a long day outdoors Silver Cloud Inn Portland Downtown is a great site to spend a night or two; there's whitewater on Clackamas River for all you adrenaline people. Near Kittredge Lake you find brilliant places like Balch Canyon, and you should unquestionably check out Mocks Bottom during your stay. Stay the night at Portland Meadows RV Park;       since you're here, you could also visit beautiful Guild Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some nice whitewater spots on Lewis River - East Fork, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Heron Lakes Golf Course is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. At Kittredge Lake                  during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Kittredge Lake. At Kittredge Lake you always meet someone from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton; taking a little tour to nearby Swan Island Basin is a nice idea. Kittredge Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July.
