Not much rain falls here at Kinzua Reservoir; November is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Kinzua Reservoir. During the warm days of summer here at Kinzua Reservoir, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the       winter are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Kinzua Reservoir temperatures sink to the 20's. Dry warm beds await you at Condon Motel, and don't leave Kinzua Reservoir without first paying a visit to Lost City Spring. Kinzua Dam is beautiful and it's near Kinzua Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Fossil Motel & Trailer Park is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A great site close to Kinzua Reservoir is                  Powder House Canyon, and get wet paddling on John Day River.
