If you are traveling by, why not stop by Kinzel Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Bighorn Campground is a delightful campground here; you can never get enough of the great skiing at Timberline Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Sandy River, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Still Creek Trail. Kinzel Lake mostly gets a good deal of

| | rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is July. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Kinzel Lake you can take a hike along the Cool Creek Trail, and Hideaway Falls is an inspiring place to stop by while here. and some of the water nearby flows, like Draw Creek. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is peerless! Falcon's Crest Inn On Mt. Hood is a fine place to get some rest, and you'll never forgive
yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl since you're here. Any time is a great time at Kinzel Lake if you fancy the outdoors. If you came for an overnight stay Kinzel Lake Campground is a good location to camp; the Hambone
Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. If you need a place to stay Snowline Motel is a great choice, and Devils Peak is a peak you can distinguish from Kinzel Lake. All through the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the
70's at Kinzel Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Kinzel Lake.
