This lake is so wonderful. Oregon Garden Resort is a good spot to get some rest, and why not camp at Silver Falls Conference Center while you're here at Kinsey Reservoir. Lakes are tremendous; Siegmund Reservoir is a lake that's near Kinsey Reservoir, and if you came for an overnight stay Park Campground is a glorious place to camp. Hiking along the Crabtree Lake Trail is pleasant       fun, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Albany-Lebanon. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. A good nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Sublimity, and soar down the rapids of Silver Creek in a kayak. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Kinsey Reservoir with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and throughout the                  dark hours in the wintertime at Kinsey Reservoir temperatures fall to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Snow Peak Mill City Trail; there's some flowing water close by, North Fork Valentine Creek is a stream you can stop at during your stay. While you're here at Kinsey Reservoir you can play some golf at Santiam Golf Club, and get covered with water paddling on Thomas Creek. A pleasant tour to Coon Hollow is a glorious way to spend an afternoon, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Heater Reservoir.
