Fossil Motel and Trailer Park is a splendid campground here, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on John Day River. For the period of the summer highs here at Keys Reservoir get into the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime       temperatures at Keys Reservoir descend into the 20's. Don't leave Keys Reservoir without first paying a visit to Homestead Spring, and you can stay the night at Lonesome Spring Campground. Having a good time in the Blue Mountains is uncomplicated. A magnificent close by hotel is Fossil Motel & Trailer Park, and do pop by Cary Creek while you're here at Keys Reservoir. Keys Reservoir is typically a rather dehydrated place; through the month of November you                  get the most rain around here; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Bone Yard Canyon is a fine site to discover; if you need a site to stay Oregon Hotel is a wonderful choice. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.
