     Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Kettle Lake is one of them. A short tour to Dutchman Spring is always worthwhile, and Kettle Lake is right by the Mount Ashland Trail. From a rainfall point of view Kettle Lake is a pretty normal site; most of the rain falls all through December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. For the duration of the days of summer at Kettle Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's.  
   During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Kettle Lake temperatures descend to the 20's.
Why not have a look at Trapper Point also while you're here; hiking along the Copper Trail is magnificent fun. This lake is so wonderful. At Kettle Lake you can distinguish Donomore Peak, and after a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn And Suites Ashland is a delightful place to spend a night or two. So many enjoyable
 
               things to do here at Kettle Lake, too good to be true. Camping is available at Oaks Mobile Home and RV Park Campground; going for a hike along the Clear Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Siskiyou Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the glorious whitewater of Klamath River; Jackson Gap is a tremendous place to go to. Kettle Lake is a beautiful lake in the Siskiyou Mountains. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is plentiful here in the Siskiyou Mountains. A nice nearby hotel is Best Western Windsor Inn.
This lake is so wonderful. A nice site for whitewater paddling close to Kettle Lake is Scott River, and why not head up to Mt. Ashland and strap some skis to your feet. Monogram Lakes is a nice lake in the vicinity of Kettle Lake, and Donomore Meadows is a great site here at Kettle Lake. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Kettle Lake. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not check out Summit Lake in the vicinity of Kettle Lake, and this is a popular place for people from Medford.
So many enjoyable things to do in the Siskiyou Mountains, not sufficient time. A tremendous place to camp here at Kettle Lake is Mulligan Bay Campground, and getting to Kettle Creek from Kettle Lake is simple.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
