Not far from Kern Reservoir, you'll find Sevcik Pond which is a lovely lake, and locations like Barlow Flats are great to go to. This lake is so wonderful. Fuel 'n' Mart is a perfect campground nearby, and Sandelie Golf Course is a pleasant golf course nearby. Pheasant Ridge RV Park is a perfect       local campground, and lots of folks from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton come here. Lakes? Sure, Aamodt Dairy Reservoir is close at hand; a tremendous nearby hotel is Best Western Willamette Inn. And that's not all you can do here at Kern Reservoir. There's whitewater on Molalla River for all you adrenaline junkies, and don't forget to take a tremendous little tour to Dove Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Kern Reservoir gets a normal amount of precipitation;                  the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July. At Kern Reservoir all through the summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
