Silver Falls State Park is a splendid local campground; Keohler Reservoir is right by the Snow Peak Mill City Trail. Through the days of summer highs here at Keohler Reservoir get into the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Keohler Reservoir temperatures fall to the 30's. But wait, there's more to do right       next door to Keohler Reservoir. Park Campground is a good campground nearby, and Silverton Hills is clearly visible from Keohler Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Echo Creek is a great site to stop at, and you'll most likely meet some people from Salem here. An average amount of rainfall falls at Keohler Reservoir; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.                  An out of the ordinary thing to stop by right next door to Keohler Reservoir is Willards Dam, and do take a hike on the Crabtree Lake Trail. If you need a location to stay Oregon Garden Resort is a nice choice, and hiking along the Pine Crest Trail is brilliant fun.
