Do stop by Kennison Reservoir while you're in this part of Oregon. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Kennison Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Canteen Spring, and Red Mountain Golf Course is a brilliant golf course close by. Ranges. There's so much to do here at Kennison Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sunny Valley Koa Kampground is a perfect place for that; there are some good whitewater spots on Grave Creek. Hiking along the South
Fork Trail is perfect fun; Oregon Caves National Monument is one of the destinations that are nice to check out close by. During the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Kennison Reservoir. Summer nighttime lows drop
down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Kennison Reservoir dipping down into the 30's during winter nights.
