The beauty of Kendall Slough is reason enough to stop by. Kendall Slough gets a common amount of annual rain; during December this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. You simply have to pop by Lower Table Rock if you're here at Kendall Slough, and going for a hike on the Chicago Trail is always a fine adventure. The Siskiyou Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Jackson County Parks and Rec is a good campground

| | nearby. Lakes? Sure, Martin Reservoir is close by. Paddling on Rogue River is so much fun, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Marlin Reservoir. Don't leave Kendall Slough without first going for a hike along the Canyon Number Three Trail, and swing by Bear Creek it's a brilliant place to visit. This lake is so wonderful. nearby course is Laurel Hill Golf Course. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great world it would be. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MEDFORD-CENTRAL POINT is a great
choice, and you're sure to come across some nice folks from Medford here. All year is a nice time in the Siskiyou Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Go for a hike on the Red Mountain Trail, and swamps can be such exciting places,
take a look at Kelly Slough if you're here at Kendall Slough. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do close to Kendall Slough. Throughout the summer months highs here at Kendall Slough reach the 80's. During the dark
hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Kendall Slough tend to be in the 20's.

Mt. Ashland
 | 24 miles away 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
