     Kelsey Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. Camping at Pine Tree Campground is always a splendid experience, and going for a hike on the Black Canyon Trail is always a great adventure. A great site to camp here at Kelsey Reservoir is Fish House Inn, and John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a fine location nearby. That right there is loads of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Mountains has it all. Don't forget to take a delightful little trip  
   to Bay Steer Creek; close by you find the South Prong Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
Kelsey Reservoir is generally a relatively dried up place; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; September is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Kelsey Reservoir commonly tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's,
 
               and overnight lows at Kelsey Reservoir all through the winter usually dip into the 10's. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Blue Mountains. Monument Motel & Rv Park is a great place to get some rest.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Kelsey Reservoir. Do stop by Seven Sixty Reservoir near Kelsey Reservoir, it's a pretty lake, and you can go for a hike on the Coffeepot Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Fish House Inn is a wonderful choice, and a short journey to A and M Spring is always worthwhile. Kelsey Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Blue Mountains.
