Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Karl Lake is peerless! Take a hike on the Pyramid Trail, and the view of gorgeous Lowder Mountain is pleasant. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Horse Creek in a kayak, and Twin Springs Campground is a fine campground nearby. So many enjoyable things to do in the Central Cascade Range, not sufficient time. The Saddle Trail offers hiking at its best, and Hoodoo is       a tremendous local ski area. A great swamp next to Karl Lake is Quaking Aspen Swamp; if you come at the right time of year, McKenzie River - South Fork offers some good whitewater. Karl Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is July. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade                  Range. Karl Lake is right by the Tipsoo Trail, and Karl Lake is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Patio RV Park is a brilliant location to camp nearby. Summertime at Karl Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the night is slightly chillier of course, regularly in the 40's.
