Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Juniper Reservoir tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Dry Lake is right next door to Juniper Reservoir, and Crooked River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. You could also stop at Fly Lake       while you're here at Juniper Reservoir; it's nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Eagle Crest Resort. Juniper Reservoir gets a large amount of water; through the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is ordinarily the driest month. Juniper Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Juniper Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Street Creek Boating Site and Campground                  is a glorious location for that, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Reservation Trail. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Central Cascade Range. A splendid spot for whitewater paddling near Juniper Reservoir is Deschutes River, and Juniper Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, The Cove Palisades State Park is a pleasant local campground.
