The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mt. Bachelor, and Blacktail Spring is an inspiring place to pop by during your stay. Camping at East Lake Resort and RV Parks is always a nice experience; the snow is glorious at Hoodoo. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Wickiup Plain; Deschutes River has a great whitewater paddling spot close       by. Lakes are delightful; Sisters Mirror Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Junco Lake. All through the summer months here at Junco Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Junco Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. The summit of The House Rock can be made out from Junco                  Lake, and not far from Junco Lake you'll stumble on Camelot Lake which is a lovely lake. So much entertaining stuff near Junco Lake, just inspiring. Hiking along the Horse Lake Trail is delightful fun, and camping is available at Upper Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. Junco Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently December, that's the one that rains the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Squaw Creek, and the Mirror Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
