Jude Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Trout Lake Campground is a great local campground; do stop by Russ Lake, it's a pretty lake. You get a wonderful panorama of Cinder Cone from Jude Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Marion Creek. This lake is so wonderful. At Jude Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down       to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Jude Lake are in the 30's. Jude Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there a load of entertaining stuff to do near Jude Lake. If you came to camp Lemiti Campground is a magnificent spot to do that, and a splendid place like Olallie                  Meadow here at Jude Lake is too glorious to miss. That right there is lots of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Take a hike on the Blue Lake Camas Prairie Trail, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Boundary Trail is pleasant fun; since you're here, you could also visit delightful Brook Lake. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Central Cascade Range. Jude Lake is right by the Pacific Crest Trail - section 22, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Clackamas River.
