This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. The high level of rainfall makes Joyce Lake a reasonably wet site; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest. At Joyce Lake you can see Nohorn Butte, and not far from Joyce Lake you'll come across Cougar Lake which is a pretty lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Joyce Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along

| | the Baty Silver King Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Clackamas River - South Fork. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. If you need a location to stay Best Western Sandy Inn is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Joyce Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, B and B Rentals is a nice local campground, and glide down the rapids of Elkhorn Creek in a kayak. Take a hike on the | |

High Camp Trail. There's so much to do here at Joyce Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Skookum Lake Campground is a nice spot for that. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central
Cascade Range. Joyce Lake is right by the Nohorn Trail. Lakes? Sure, Surprise Lake is close by. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Joyce Lake highs are usually in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures
are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Joyce Lake.
