    If you are in Clackamas county it's always a good idea to stop by Joyce Lake. A lot of rainfall falls at Joyce Lake; most of the rain falls during December; the driest of the months is July. Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. If you need a place to stay All Season's Motel is a good choice. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Joyce Lake has to offer, you can camp at B and B Rentals.
And that's not everything there is to do here
 
   in the Central Cascade Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clackamas River - South Fork, and going for a hike on the High Camp Trail is always a glorious adventure. Through the months of summer highs here at Joyce Lake reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Joyce Lake temperatures fall to the 30's.  
               Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Joyce Lake. Nohorn Butte is a peak you can distinguish from Joyce Lake, and Joyce Lake is a splendid place to camp, Skookum Lake Campground is a splendid place.
This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Elkhorn Creek in a kayak, and close by you come across the Nohorn Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Lakeside Motel is a good location to get some rest, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Baty Silver King Trail. Joyce Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range.
