Jones Pond is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mill Creek, and if you need a site to stay Sheridan Country Inn is a nice choice. A quick tour to Glenbrook Creek near Jones Pond is a fine idea. This lake is so wonderful. Jones Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Fan Creek Campground is a good local campground, and you'll hit upon a picturesque lake called Osborn Pond. Yep,       outdoors cool stuff truly is bountiful here in the Coast Ranges. Camping at Dovre Campground is always a great experience, and a glorious nearby hotel is Spirit Mountain. Jones Pond is a reasonably wet place typically with a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls during December; July is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Jones Pond generally tend to be in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
