Camping is available at Benton Oaks RV and Campground; don't forget to take a splendid little trip to Airlie Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. So many enjoyable things to do at Johnson Reservoir, so little time. A glorious place to camp here at Johnson Reservoir is Corvallis Mobile Home Park. Summer at Johnson Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight       lows are typically in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Johnson Reservoir during the wintertime mostly sink into the 30's. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marys River, and you're sure to run into some friendly folks from Corvallis here. So many amusing things to do in the Coast Ranges, not sufficient time. Mill Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close                  by, and dry warm beds await you at Harrison House B&B. Johnson Reservoir gets a large amount of water; the month with most of the rain is December while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
