    If you are in Grant county it's always a good idea to stop by Johnson Reservoir. Johnson Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Bull Run Reservoir, and you could always explore Thompson Gulch. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in  
   the Blue Mountains. Big Glade Spring is always fun to check out, and Ray Cole Campground is a glorious campground here.
The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail close to Johnson Reservoir called the Berry Creek Trail, and Little Pine Inn is a pleasant spot to get some rest.

               beds await you at Traveler's Motel. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Blue Mountains. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a sight of at H S Johnson Dam in the neighborhood of Johnson Reservoir, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Fawn Spring Trail. But wait, there's more to do close to Johnson Reservoir. The vista of pretty Sugarloaf near Johnson Reservoir is delightful, and you can stay the night at Clyde Holliday.
High temperatures at Johnson Reservoir through the long summer days are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Johnson Reservoir.
