That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Johnson Lake has it all. Whitewater paddling is great on Crabtree Creek, and this is a popular place for people from Albany-Lebanon. The annual rain here at Johnson       Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is July. Clarks Pond is a delightful lake right next door to Johnson Lake, and Rodeway Inn Sublimity is a delightful site to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Albany is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and don't leave without stopping by North Santiam State Park. Stay the night at Premier RV Resort at Mallard Creek Golf Course,                  and getting to Carter Creek from Johnson Lake is painless. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Johnson Lake, for example Taylor Reservoir, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Mallard Creek Golf Course is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the warm months at Johnson Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's.
