Through the long summer days at John Henry Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at John Henry Lake. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the North Minam Trail, and Baker City Super 8 Motel is a glorious site to get some rest. John       Henry Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Nez Perce Trailer and RV Park is a good place to camp nearby; do take a hike on the Bowman Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wallowa Mountains. Brownie Basin is a nice location to check out. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are beyond doubt abundant here at John Henry Lake. John Henry Lake is not the only spot close by, Hobo Lake is a close by lake. You'll need more than a day to explore                  everything John Henry Lake has to offer, you can camp at Out Post RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at John Henry Lake you can take a hike along the Copper Creek Trail, and here at John Henry Lake you can see Lookout Mountain. This lake is located in the wonderful Wallowa Mountains. It is very arid here at John Henry Lake frequently; during December this area sees the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains.
