A journey to John Griffith Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Little Lake Spring, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Alsea River - North Fork. Through the months of summer highs here at John Griffith Reservoir get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's,       and overnight lows at John Griffith Reservoir during the wintertime frequently sink into the 30's. You'll meet a lot of people from Corvallis here, and swing by Druggs Creek it's a perfect location to visit. John Griffith Reservoir generally gets a lot of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here while July is usually the driest month. You'll need more than a day to look at everything John Griffith Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Fern Ridge                  Shores, and do have a look at Little Lake, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Richardson Park; if you come at the right time of year, Alsea River - South Fork offers some great whitewater. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in close proximity to John Griffith Reservoir.
