Jo Ann Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Hills Creek, and there are other sites here than Jo Ann Lake, for example Boo Boo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Pothole Meadow is a striking spot any time of year, and Twin Springs Campground is a pleasant local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Oakridge Inn, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Gold Lake Trail.

| | And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do right next door to Jo Ann Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Willamette Pass, and it's a great idea to explore Bechel Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Shelter Cove Resort is a wonderful site to camp. Summertime highs at Jo Ann Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Throughout | |

the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Jo Ann Lake temperatures dip to the 20's.
That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range
has it all. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Rankins Horse Pasture is right close by, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Ray Trail. Jo Ann Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; throughout the month of December
you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. Mount Ray is gorgeous and can be observed from Jo Ann Lake, and do take a hike on the Island Lake Trail.
