After a long day outdoors Baker City Super 8 Motel is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and you're probably addicted to lakes, Rogers Lake is one of those close by. Through the warm months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Jewett Lake, and the nighttime is rather colder of course, usually in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Jewett       Lake. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wallowa Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Copper Creek Trail, and Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a nice spot to get some rest. Not much rain falls here at Jewett Lake; most of the snow falls during December, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of stunning Petes Point near Jewett Lake is fine; Jewett Lake is a glorious                  site to visit for more than one day, Scenic Meadows RV Park is a glorious site to camp nearby. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Stay the night at Wallowa Lake State Park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Jewett Lake; Kettle Creek Trail is a brilliant local trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wallowa Mountains. The Main Creek Trail offers hiking at its best; if you've had enough of Jewett Lake, Aneroid Lake is nearby. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing things to do in the Wallowa Mountains.
