Jefferson Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Patsy Lake is close at hand, and Wizard Falls Campground is a good campground nearby. And that's not everything you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Jefferson Lake it's a wonderful idea to explore Hole-in-the-Wall Park, and Lodge at Suttle Lake is a pleasant location to get some rest. For the duration of the summertime, highs commonly are in the 70's

| | at Jefferson Lake while night lows are typically in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Jefferson Lake temperatures drop to the 20's.
Just can't get enough of the Central Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Jefferson Lake Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Hoodoo. Be careful coming to Jefferson Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Have a splendid hiking | |

adventure along the Jefferson Creek Trail; get dripping wet paddling on Metolius River. Jefferson Lake is a wet spot that gets much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most,
and the driest month is July.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Jefferson Lake you can take a hike along the Sugar Pine Ridge Trail, and Trout Lake Campground is a good
local campground. A visit to Lava Spring will fill your soul with good feelings; the top of Bear Butte is easily seen from Jefferson Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Marion Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Ponderosa Lodge.
