For the period of the long summer days at Jefferson Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Jefferson Lake drop into the 20's. Stay the night at Trout Lake       Campground; Jefferson Lake is right by the Sugar Pine Ridge Trail. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Jefferson Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Central Cascade Range. The Jefferson Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll need more than a day to look at everything                  Jefferson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wizard Falls Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Best Western Ponderosa Lodge, and Cabot Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. All year is a splendid time in the Central Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. Lava Spring is a tremendous local attraction, and Marion Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. Head up to Hoodoo and strap some skis to your feet. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Jefferson Lake. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Metolius River; Hole-in-the-Wall Park is a gorgeous location any time of year. This lake is so wonderful.
