All through the warmest time of the year at Jazel Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Jazel Reservoir dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Jazel Reservoir; Crabtree Lake Trail is a delightful local trail, and       camping is available at Premier RV Resort at Mallard Creek Golf Course. Jazel Reservoir is a wet place that gets much precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here; July on the other hand is the driest. Good hiking is available along the Snow Peak Mill City Trail, and obviously, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Piper Reservoir is a lake nearby. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Central Cascade Range. After a long                  day outdoors Sweet Home Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two, and do take a look at Billy Creek since you're here at Jazel Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A good nearby hotel is Sun Motel, and camping at Holiday Mobile Park is always a magnificent experience. This lake is so wonderful. The Michigan Heights Trail offers hiking at its best. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This is a popular place for folks from Albany-Lebanon, and you can run the rapids of Crabtree Creek. Having a tremendous time in the Central Cascade Range is simple.
