Jarvis Ponds is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more entertaining stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. On a delightful day at Jarvis Ponds you can take a hike along the Hale Spring Trail, and Anthony Lakes is a tremendous local ski area. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Grande Ronde River, and after a long day outdoors Stampede Inn is a great site to spend a night or two.

| | Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson, and Jarvis Ponds is a pleasant place to camp, Grandview Campground is a pleasant place. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Grande Ronde River offers some splendid whitewater, and the Summit Mount Emily Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. The warmest time of the year at Jarvis Ponds arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the
40's while Jarvis Ponds night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Jarvis Ponds is located in the Blue Mountains. Take a side visit to Fir Creek, and nearby you come across the Five Points Trail which is a great
hiking trail.
Around Jarvis Ponds you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is generally the driest month. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more cool
things to do here in the Blue Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Spout Springs is in the vicinity of Jarvis Ponds. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Jarvis Ponds has to offer, you can camp at La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort.
