It's always fun to stop by James Reservoir. Cliff Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rogue River. you're here at James Reservoir you can take a hike along the Canyon Number Three Trail. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Siskiyou Mountains. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MEDFORD-CENTRAL POINT is a magnificent
site to get some rest, and James Reservoir is not far at all from Medford. Just can't get enough of the Siskiyou Mountains. Chirgwin Reservoir is a good lake next to James Reservoir; if you're here why not take a look at Holman Gulch.
For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at James Reservoir get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime

Mt. Ashland
 | 27 miles away 3 PHOTOS If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
