You can run the rapids of Nehalem River in the vicinity of Jackson Reservoir; Horning's Fishing & Picnic is a pleasant local campground. Cedar Canyon Creek is a good spot to visit, and delightful water scenery is       available at Maple Headquarters Dam in the vicinity of Jackson Reservoir. And if that's not enough there's a load more fun stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Jackson Reservoir is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Big Eddy County Park is a magnificent place to camp nearby. Lakes are brilliant; Maple Headquarters Reservoir is a lake that's in the vicinity of Jackson Reservoir. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. Cedar Canyon is a wonderful                  location to go to close to Jackson Reservoir, and golf can be played at Sunset Grove Golf Course. Jackson Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Jackson Reservoir, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Jackson Reservoir during the wintertime typically fall into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Rock Creek is a delightful whitewater spot near Jackson Reservoir. The high level of precipitation makes Jackson Reservoir a pretty wet location; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
