Jackson Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rogue River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Jackson Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Medford-Gold Hill KOA. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Red Mountain Trail is always a nice adventure, and a lake close by is Zwan Reservoir. From a precipitation point of

| | view Jackson Reservoir is a relatively normal spot; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July.
During the summertime here at Jackson Reservoir, high temperatures usually get into the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. time. A short visit to Beck Spring is always worthwhile, and Best Western Inn At The Rogue is a brilliant place to get some rest. Jackson Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges.
Yeah, come here to Jackson Reservoir
for a nice time. A tremendous spot to check out next to Jackson Reservoir is A K Gulch, and there's some flowing water nearby, Ladies Creek is a stream you can stop at while here. Don't leave Jackson Reservoir without first going
for a hike along the South Fork Trail; you can stay the night at Circle w RV Park. This spot, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors fun things. Go for a hike on the Canyon Number Three Trail, and after a long day outdoors Rod & Reel
Motel is a good site to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Umpqua River - South.
