If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Island Lake. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Island Lake. Camping is available at Cold Springs Resort, and nearby you discover the Cache Lake Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a perfect spot to get some rest, and everybody close by loves skiing at Mt. Bachelor. A great

| | place to camp here at Island Lake is Suttle Lake Resort and Marina; not far from Island Lake you'll come across Dollar Nine Lake which is a scenic lake. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too pleasant to be true. You get a great sight of Little Cache Mountain from Island Lake, and going for a hike on the Round Lake Trail is always a perfect adventure. This lake is so wonderful. wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Squaw Creek, and if you need a place to stay Lodge at Suttle Lake is a pleasant choice. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Island Lake temperatures are generally in
the 70's, and the night is slightly colder of course, typically in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Island Lake during the wintertime mostly sink into the 20's. This lake is located in the

all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain while July is regularly the driest month. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range. Marion Creek is a perfect whitewater spot near Island Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Little Lake Trail.
