Many people like to go to Indian Lake Reservoir. Through the days of summer at Indian Lake Reservoir highs are usually in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Indian Lake Reservoir are in the 30's. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Southern Cascade Range is peerless! Bear Gulch is a fine site to look at,

| | and Indian Lake Reservoir is a brilliant place to camp, Bear Mountain RV Park is a brilliant place.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Tison Trail, and after a long day outdoors Royal Coachman Motel is a great site to spend a night or two. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Indian Lake Reservoir. Indian Lake Reservoir is right by the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Trail, and Mucky Flat is right here at Indian Lake Reservoir. | |

Indian Lake Reservoir gets very little rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is July.
The Alco Trail offers hiking at its best; if you need a location to stay Edgewater Inn is a fine choice. Now,
you may think that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. At Indian Lake Reservoir you can see Camel Hump, and lots of people from Medford come here. A quick trip to Deer Creek near
Indian Lake Reservoir is a glorious idea; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Big Butte Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rogue River - North
Fork, and you can stay the night at Shady Trails RV Park and Campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range.
