A visit to Huxley Lake is always a good idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is a great spot to do that. Huxley Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest.

| | for an overnight stay Lookout Springs Campground is a good place to camp. Pelton Park is a perfect local campground, and there are some great whitewater spots on Roaring River. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is unbeatable! It's a magnificent idea to visit South Fork Roaring River, it's near Huxley Lake, and obviously, this is a delightful neighborhood for people who like lakes, Squaw Lakes is a lake in the vicinity.

You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. The Dry Ridge Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close to Huxley Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Whispering Woods (Vri). Huxley
Lake in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Lakes are tremendous; Shining Lake is a lake that's close to Huxley Lake, and Resort at the Mountain is a great place to get some rest. Through the long summer days at
Huxley Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down through
the wintertime temperatures at Huxley Lake drop into the 30's.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Clackamas River, and close by you come across the Fanton Plaza Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail.
