For the duration of the summertime at Huxley Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 40's while Huxley Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's. So much exciting stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range, not enough time. Skiing at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is one       of those things you just should do, and the Roaring River Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. Shamrock Motel is a good place to get some rest; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Fanton Plaza Trail. Huxley Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Shining Lake Campground is a splendid campground here; going for a hike along the Dry Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this                  neighborhood. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Some of the water nearby flows, like South Fork Roaring River. If you came for an overnight stay Lookout Springs Campground is a good spot to camp, and get covered with water paddling on Roaring River. Huxley Lake gets a good deal of water; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This place, Huxley Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff.
