What a nice lake Hunt Reservoir is. Mystery Creek flows through this vicinity, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Medford for sure. Whitewater paddling is good on Rogue River, and The Meadows is a brilliant site here at Hunt Reservoir. Hiking along the Red Mountain Trail is good fun, and paddling on Umpqua River - South is so much fun.

This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Maple Leaf Motel It's always great to visit Rexrood Springs. Hull Mountain is pretty and can be spotted from Hunt Reservoir; a wonderful spot is Lucky Hollow.

fun, Central Point Koa Kampground is a glorious local campground; Simpson Reservoir is a good lake close by. Take a hike on the Chicago Trail, and not far from Hunt Reservoir you acquire some great water scenery at Simpson Dam. And
that's not all you can do here at Hunt Reservoir. Jackson County Parks and Rec is a pleasant campground here.
During the warm days of summer at Hunt Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to
the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's while Hunt Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 30's. Hunt Reservoir gets a typical amount of rainfall; during December this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July.
