If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great earth it would be. Looking for a fine visit? Crater Lake National Park is reasonably close to Lake Hunice; you can stay the night at Rocky Point Resort. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range.       During the long summer days at Lake Hunice temperatures are usually in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Hunice are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular location for folks from Klamath Falls, and hey, Penn Creek is a good local stream. This spot, the Southern Cascade Range, has so much                  outdoors amusing stuff. Lake Hunice is not the only place close by, Lake Francis is a close by lake. Take a hike on the Pelican Butte Trail, unsurprisingly you could also go to Lake Gladys while you're here; it's not far at all. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Southern Cascade Range. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Cold Spring Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Hunice that you need to camp here for a while, Hemlock Lake Campground is a great place for that.
