A beautiful lake like School Section Lake near Howell Lake is a great site to stop by, and if you need a place to stay Phoenix Inn Suites Beaverton is a great choice. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Swamps are exciting places and Mud Slough near Howell Lake is no exception; Sauvie Cove Store and RV Park is a splendid campground nearby.       Through the summer months at Howell Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Howell Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights.
