Very brilliant water scenery is available at Pearson Dam near Hortons Reservoir, and at Hortons Reservoir you always meet someone from Salem. Much rainfall falls at Hortons Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is July. At Hortons Reservoir       you can observe Chehalem Mountains, and as expected Graver Creek flows through this area. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Hortons Reservoir, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows during the wintertime for Hortons Reservoir tend to be in the 30's.
