offers some glorious whitewater. Hortense Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Hortense Lake called the South Loop Cut Off; Lodge at Suttle Lake is
a great place to get some rest. Hoodoo is a splendid local ski area, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Four O'Clock Lake. All year is a good time in the Central Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Near Hortense Lake
you hit upon the Round Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and the slopes of Mt. Bachelor are so inviting noone can resist.
