Why not stop by Hortense Lake if you're passing through these parts. This place, Hortense Lake, it just has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Glide down the rapids of Marion Creek in a kayak; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Round Lake Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Hortense Lake a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. Hortense Lake is one of the lakes

| | here in the Central Cascade Range. Through the summer at Hortense Lake highs are generally in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. places here than Hortense Lake, for example Bone Lake. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Cache Lake Trail, and a brilliant close by hotel is Lodge at Suttle Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and
hit Squaw Creek, and Hortense Lake is a splendid location to camp, Black Butte Resort is a splendid location. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range. Going for
a hike along the South Loop Cut Off will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and everyone close by loves skiing at Hoodoo. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Mt. Bachelor is a magnificent place to do that. The
sight of stunning Little Cache Mountain near Hortense Lake is fine, and Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is a good campground here.
