This lake is so wonderful. A delightful nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Corvallis-On The River, Or, and Bryant Lake Bed is a delightful place any time of year. Stay the night at Albany/Corvallis KOA, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Asbahr Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Willamette River.       Horseshoe Lake is a reasonably wet place usually with a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls through December, and the driest month is July. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do right next door to Horseshoe Lake. Enjoy a round of golf at Golf Club of Oregon not far from Horseshoe Lake, and Marys River is a great whitewater spot close by. After a long day outdoors Salbasgeon Suites is a delightful spot to spend a night or two; Horseshoe Lake                  is not far at all from Corvallis. Not far from Horseshoe Lake, you'll find Beaver Lake which is a pretty lake; why not a little side tour to Bowers Slough. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Horseshoe Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Horseshoe Lake descend into the 30's.
