So many cool things in the Southern Cascade Range, just unbelievable. If you came for an overnight stay Saddle Campground is a splendid place to camp; Pear Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Horseshoe Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.       For the duration of the warm days of summer at Horseshoe Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Horseshoe Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Blue Canyon Trail, and obviously Swan Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth a visit. A magnificent site like Buck Basin here at Horseshoe                  Lake is too great to miss, and there's great hiking along the Twin Ponds Trail. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do in close proximity to Horseshoe Lake. Upper South Fork Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and don't leave Horseshoe Lake without first going for a hike along the Blue Rock Trail. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Southern Cascade Range. If you haven’t been to Crater Lake National Park, you ought to schedule some time for it if you're here, and one of the governing features of the surroundings of Horseshoe Lake is Cat Hill.
