A visit to Horsepasture Lake is always a good idea. All the outdoors enjoyable things near Horsepasture Lake will keep you coming back again and again. A pleasant close by hotel is Kalama River Inn; camping at Columbia Riverfront RV Park is always a good experience. Get dripping wet paddling on Goble Creek, and lots of people from Longview-Kelso come here. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Kalama River, and a delightful place to camp here at Horsepasture

After a long day outdoors Best Western Oak Meadows Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and nearby you find the Georges Peak Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Swamps like Benham Slough are fun to stop at, and since you're here at Horsepasture Lake, checking out Martin Bluff is a must. Visit McBride Creek if you're here at Horsepasture Lake.

have a look at Resting Lake in close proximity to Horsepasture Lake, and you are in the neighborhood of Deer Island Point since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Goble Beach right next door to Horsepasture Lake is
always a tremendous idea, and a gorgeous lake like Thorn Lake is a tremendous place to go to. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Horsepasture Lake with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 40's
with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Horsepasture Lake.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Horsepasture Lake a wet location; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July.
