Around Horse Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the snow falls through December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. A great place to camp here at Horse Lake is McCornick Campground; a lake close by is Twin Lakes. A delightful close by hotel is Best Western Rama Inn & Suites, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wildhorse River. Now,       you may believe that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Wallowa Mountains. Duck Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; hiking along the Summit Creek Trail is splendid fun. Horse Lake is located in the Wallowa Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Copperfield Campground is always a magnificent experience, and some close by water includes Aspen Creek. At Horse Lake during the summertime months highs are in the                  80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Horse Lake through the wintertime generally descend into the 10's. Just can't get enough of Horse Lake.
